This bagel restaurant is a "be-backer". That is, it's so good that we said we'd be back even though we don't live in the area. So, we went back the next day and had another excellent bagel breakfast. They only make several varieties of bagels each day but they are excellent and enough variety to satisfy our choices. Ingredients such as eggs, cheese, cured salmon , and veggies all high quality and flavorful. We encountered a line on Sat in the mid morning. The line didn't move that fast but once our order was in the food was delivered very quickly. On Sunday we went earlier and there was no line. Also tried a cinnamon knot pastry- excellent. Lots of free parking. Really like this place. Hope to be back someday soon. Notorious MD highly approved.

Really really great bagels!! I got the Through the Garden and my husband and got The Lox. My bagel was.. a lot haha like really messy and hard to eat, and the pickled green tomatoes were not for me. But! The rest of the sandwich was so good. I'd definitely return, but just order a simpler bagel. My husband loved his lox bagel, though!

A very yummy bagel! I stopped by while I was in the area and I'm glad I did! There were a lot of parking spaces and it looked like they had a lot of outdoor seating as well. I ordered the lox bagel to go, and it was prepared very quickly and looked aesthetically pleasing too. The bagel was chewy and the toppings seemed high quality and fresh. The person who helped me with my order was friendly as well. I would say though, that the bagels are quite pricey. Overall, if I am ever craving a bagel again or if I wanted to take my friend to get a bagel in OC, I'd definitely come to this spot!

We are a long time morning bagel customer. Bagels are great ! Last night we attended a Burger Popup at the location. Wow it was great! The Ed and June smash burgers were terrific. The ambiance was kicked up a notch for the evening. Most of the morning staff were there, service was great ++Plus. Several specially selected wines were available. A sommelier was present at ordering for thorough explanation of the various labels! Did I mention the burgers? Great, cant wait for the monthly popup.

FOOD: East Village Sandwich [7/10] The bagel was a bit hard and rough to eat as a sandwich...everything inside kept slipping out with each bite. I wish it was a bit softer. The scallion cream cheese tasted delicious with the house-cured lox though. TDLR; bagel= hard, flavor=good SERVICE: [8/10] Bagel came out pretty fast. Workers were nice. AMBIANCE: there's an outdoor patio with a good amount of seating. There's also a few spots along the window inside the shop. Parking: lots of parking in this big lot!

The most perfect bagel place spot in the OC! I got the fully loaded lox bagel ($19) and the bagel itself was so fresh with an amazing doughy/chewy interior and crispy exterior. It came with the perfect amount of cream cheese, lox, and a TON of greens (sprouts, herbs, and capers). Definitely on the saltier side so be prepared with a ton of water Went at 10:00AM on a Sunday and it was really hard to find a seat in the back patio, so make sure to go earlier. Would not recommend the indoor seating during peak times since it looked uncomfortably close to the people standing in line. Highly recommend overall and can't wait to bring my friends from NYC here to compare it with their bagels

My go to bagel location when I'm out in OC! It's located is a small center with lots of parking. The lines do get a bit longer after 8:30 AM so if you're in a rush, come earlier! However, the lines go pretty quickly. You order at the counter and can either take it to go, or go to their outside patio. The staff is really friendly which is an added plus to the amazing food! They have a great selection of bagel selections that range from the everyday bagels (e.g., plain, everything, sesame), to their artisanal options ( e.g., cacio e Pepe, white cheddar jalapeño). For their set sandwiches, you can pick any of the bagels with the artisanal costing $1-2 more depending on which flavor you choose. You can also purchase their bagels to enjoy later on (fyi, they freeze well and taste great even after rebaking!). Off of their menu, I've tried the Bella, the O.G. and the New Yorker and all have been AMAZING! The bagel is crispy on the outside but soft/chewy in the middle, with so much flavor! The portions are large so they're shareable with others if you want to get more than one to share and try. The bagels still taste good after rewarming; the bagels don't go stale or hard. They also don't skimp on the filling/meats so def a place to get your moneys worth. Also, if you visit make sure to try the different hot sauces with the bagels! Overall, wonderful place for bagel lovers! Will definitely come back again!

Food: The OG with Everything Bagel (5/5) - it's their scramble eggs + sausage + cheese bagel sandwich! The combo was so good and the side cilantro Adi Creama added additional flavors to it too Drinks: Fresh Orange Juice (4.5/5) - I enjoyed it! Seating: They have an outdoor patio that is covered and has a decent amount of tables. Overall (5/5) - I think this place is definitely on the top of the list for bagel sandwiches in the area. We came on a Sunday around noon and the line was long too (shows how popular they are!)

Was in Newport, and NEEDED brunch- Boil & Bake served. I got the deli classic on a sesame bagel and besides the $15 price point, it was as close to perfect as it gets (minus half a star for that, but yelp doesn't allow lol). The outdoor area was SO cute and perfectly shady. Yes besties, I APPROVE!!

Came here early on a Sunday and it was already busy. That normally is a good sign and suffice it to say I was not disappointed. These bagels are the real deal. You can taste the difference. I ordered the "Don't Go Bacon my Heart" on the Jalapeño Cheese bagel. I loved that the bacon was thick cut. It honestly felt more like a ham or pork belly. That against the rich chive cream cheese and the briny pickled green tomato... seriously, chefs kiss. I also love that the orange juice is fresh squeezed and they give you a good amount. It's pricey for bagels but honestly worth every penny. The place is small but charming. They do have a pretty large outdoor patio. Overall, worth a stop if you're in the area.
